Yesterday was the little man’s first birthday. We had a party for him on Sunday and he had so much fun. He loves being around people. He is already walking and trying to form words all the time. He is such a blessing to Arissa and I. We are so grateful to God for giving us an amazing son. Happy Birthday Nehemiah. Take note of the cheesy smile half way into the song.  I will post some pics when I get a chance.

HELLO ALL! TODAY IS SATURDAY AND IT IS 5:57 AM AND I AM IN MY CUBE HERE AT WOW!.  FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON’T KNOW WOW! IS WHERE I WORK. I SELL INTERNET, CABLE AND PHONE. SO IF YOU LIVE IN CHICAGO, MI, OH, OR IL, I CAN GIVE YOU A GREAT DEAL. IT HAS BEEN A ROUGH WEEK FIGHTING SNOW LEAVING FOR WORK AT 4AM, I STILL HAVE THE AFTER AFFECTS OF THE SWINE FLU (A COUGH) THAT IS JUST ANNOYING NOW. MAN I HAVENT POSTED IN FOREVER AND ALL I CAN DO IS WHINE. MY BAD. HERE ARE SOME GOOD THINGS.

MY SCHEDULE ALLOWS ME TO BE A BIT MORE FLEXIBLE  BECAUSE I GET OFF AT 1:30PM EVERYDAY, THAT I LIKE. I ALSO ENJOY MY DAYS OFF. SUNDAY AND MONDAY IT MAKES THE WEEKENDS SEEM TO LAST LONGER, AND MONDAY IS EASIER TO JUST BE WITH THE FAM. I AM LEADING WORSHIP MORE FREQUENTLY NOW, SO THAT IS GOOD. IT DOES COME WITH SOME CHALLENGES  THOUGH.

LATELY I HAVE BEEN CONTEMPLATING DROPPING MY CELL PHONE. IT IS SO DANG EXPENSIVE AND I DONT LIKE BEING SO DEPENDENT  ON IT. PLUS I RARELY USE IT. IT SEEMS LIKE PEOPLE ONLY KNOW HOW TO COMMUNICATE THROUGH FACE BOOK OR MYSPACE THESE DAYS AND THE ART OF CONVERSATION IS DWINDLING. WELL I BETTER GET BACK TO WORK BEFORE THE PHONE STARTS RINGING OFF THE HOOK. PEACE OUT.

We arent in Florida anymore Todo.

Adam is slowly recovering from the swine flu. Yesterday he came on a walk with us since we had cabin feveR.

This morning we went to breakfast at a diner in Colorado Springs. The temperature was 24 degrees. Andy and Nicole had never been in such cold weather. We saw about a dozen accidents on the way down. They were shocked. That little hat in the middle is Nehemiah.

We are staying the night with Andy and Nicole in downtown Denver. We just got done playing cards. It snowed today so that was a nice treat.

We made our way up to Rocky Mountain National Park. Andy and Nicole were amazed! Being with them while they experienced the mountains was a delight.

We saw several elk. This is a buck has a huge set of antlers.

Nehemiah playing peek a boo with the lady in the booth next to ours. I ate Rocky Mountain pizza which had cream cheese, red onions, smoked trout, and capers. It was delicious. Nehemiah liked the trout too.

We are on our way up to Estes Park with our good friends Andy and Nicole. They arrived on Monday from Florida.  They will be here for a week visiting Denver, family and us. While Adam is at work, Nehemiah and I are playing tourists. Three quarters of  the drive Nehemiah cried. Just before we arrived he fell asleep. I felt so bad for Andy and Nicole.  More adventure pictures to come:)
