This morning we went to breakfast at a diner in Colorado Springs. The temperature was 24 degrees. Andy and Nicole had never been in such cold weather. We saw about a dozen accidents on the way down. They were shocked. That little hat in the middle is Nehemiah.

These were fun memories! Going down the highway with ice on the window trying to defrost, but getting so hot that we had to roll the windows down too. Yes, I drove like an old lady, but that’s because all the other crazy drivers were slammed into poles or guardrails and I didn’t want to end up like them. (Not to mention that we had a little package in the back that we wanted to keep safe). Of course I nearly froze to death walk from the car to the diner. But was warmed by the waitress’s personality/speed of service and the heaping portions of food (I mean HEAPING!). Good memories!
